Lettuce Me!

We decided to make BLT's last night.  Rather BL's, because we didn't have any tomatoes on hand. 

Here's what we had going on before making a family trip to our garden:

BL Sandwiches!  My dream meal this summer would be BLT's with fresh lettuce and tomatoes from the garden, with a side of sweet corn on the cob, also from our garden.  If we get a couple tomatoes and a single ear of corn this summer, I will be thrilled!!

Sweet Summer Time

It wasn’t broken. It was actually 102 degrees around here yesterday.  Crazy, crazy hot!!  It was definitely a pool day! We opened up several pool toys that I picked up from Target on clearance at the end of last summer. It cost $11 total for everything pictured:

(BTW:  The Nemo toy is awesome.  It keeps swimming!)

　
We labeled all of our new toys and packed up yesterday morning to head out to our community pool:

Lucky rarely takes afternoon naps! I think we need to start making the pool part of our daily routineJ
